Kris Grover, Artist, works in textiles & fibers, specifically papers which are painted/embellished and re-purposed into painterly compositions.  The careful observer will often see relevant and humorous notes and innuendo relating to the subject matter in each painting.  Kris teaches numerous classes across Central and NE Iowa.  Contact her for a class near you.  Kris resides in Elkader with her husband, the Computer Man, a/k/a Luna Cyber, and the Studio Assistant.

Randy Grover, Computer Man, is the artist's personal assistant and tech support.  He builds exhibit booths, helps with accounting, provides business insight, offers art advice and perspective from the pedestrian point of view, offers moral & emotional support, drives the portable studio ("The Behemoth"), and helped supervise the Studio Assistant.

(The late) Miss May, Studio Assistant, Marguerite Maybelline Grover-- "Maggie" to familiar folk.  Accompanied artist and computer man on assignments.  Taste tester.  Dignified disdain-er.  Sighed pithily at apropos moments.  Gustily announced the UPS man.  Woofed joyfully at beloved.  Rest in peace, sweetheart. 

We are sad to announce Miss May passed away in July 2019 at the age of 17.  Her sweet spirit remains in the studio and our love for her remains in our hearts.
